First off, Would you like to save thousands on your home Lending Tree mortgage? Looking forward for any response. Second question of mine... I sent a sample validation letter to a Collection Agency asking for validation of the debt they claim I owe them. I sent one of the sample letters I found on from this site asking for a copy of their contract and so forth..

Yesterday, I got back in the mail a printout of what looks like my account with the cover letter asking for their money by January 31..

I'm not sure what my next step should be? This is obvioulsy not proper validation like I requested. Any help would be appreciated!..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably could give you help..

I now have copies of all 3 of my reports and this Collection Agency hasn't reported to any of them..

So does the advice above change? How should I handle it now since I can't force them to remove if they haven't placed anything?.

Thanks..

They are still attempting to collect on a debt which they haven't validated. Send them the same Wollman letter telling them that if they don't validate, they should cease from any further attempts to collect the debt. If they report it since your first validation letter, they will have committed a violation!..

1*So does the advice above change?.

2*How should I handle it now.

3*since I can't force them to remove if they haven't placed anything?.

Touchdown.

===============.

1*Why should it change anything?.

2*Same way..

3*Why is removal your only objective?.

What's to stop them from reporting it instantly at any time?.

What stops them from continually badgering you for payment even though or if it's not on your reports?.

I think you are totally and completely missing the point when you said that..

GEORGE | 13758 posts since Mar 2000.

Brown59 | 7770 posts since Feb 2001.

And if you study the matter a bit more thoroughly I think other similiarities will help establish the point..

Furthermore this affiant sayeth not!..
