My question is Why are second Lending Tree mortgages considered "bad"? Thanks for any answer or 2. My other question... Yep, nodding with Marc and Breeze,. |

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably can help you..

In fact they verified I was EARLY on the two payments the broker's report is showing 30 days late..
Cjgsav. ===================This can happen if you make another payment after the due date.. LB 59.. |

Unfortuantely, it's all true. I've been staring at the two EQ and 1 tri-merged reports the last few days in disbelief..
So lets look at the standings for how my previous Lending Tree mortgage appears. (All reports ran with 2 hours of each other). Tri-merged from broker 4 times 30. Straight Equifax from broker 3 times 30. My Equifax from website 1 times 30. It looks as though I'm 3 lates out of first.. After discovering there is a stealth report out there showing incorrect information, I'm despartly trying to maintain my sense of humor... |
|
Well we need some pioneers..
Why do you think we can't find any published decisions on this? Or do you think you're the first bunch who've had this happen?. Once a case is filed and they get a case number THEY STRAIGHTEN UP THEIR ACT ASAP.. What's that tell ya?. ???.. |

Butch,.
It's funny how many of the "long time posters" with completely clean reports keep saying this same thing. Over and over. Since people get tired of hearing it, and I get tired of saying it, so there must be a problem somewhere. I just know, it isn't with me or my reports. So I will stop saying it, and let people complain and moan on how they keep getting screwed by the system.. I just know that those who a willing take the neccessary steps, end up with clean reports no matter how much "energy" it takes, and the rest will do whatever it is they are doing... |

Here's a thought. How about people stop empowering these companies to continue putting inaccurate information & making 'mistakes' on repairing that information..
How is that? The money that is poured in to these companies on a daily bases through, so-called Lending Tree credit repair services, purchasing repeadetly your credit reports and scores. Paying for the CRA monthly reporting/score services..... As long as a profit can be made doing buisness this way, it will not change. I am sure they are making way more on the 'obsession on clean credit' then the little bit overall they are putting out on small claim cases.. I have to be happy with the fact that although it took me 1 1/2 yrs to get down to 3 neg's total on the 3 CR. I did manage to obtain first a competetive Lending Tree mortgage rate, a 0% for 5 yr on a new car & now a 'A' paper refi-construction loan.. I did this for under $50 of USPS fees & a lot of physical time on my part. I refuse to spend money on buying my report or my scores.. Becky.. |

That I do agree with Becky, the CRA's certainly do capitalize and profit in providing credit services via us doing what we are charged with as consumers to do and monitoring the reports and thus the CRA's and those that report to them..
Save the 7-year reporting time limit, and I'm not even positive about that, no changes occur without us first initiating a dispute.. Bassackwards I say, the information should be verified BEFORE it is reported and reports should be provided each time. Place the responsibility squarely where it belongs. Some state's are enacting pro-active legislation in this regard.. Your energy shouldn't be negatively spent bitching about an existing system that we are forced to participate in, spend it changing the broken system and encouraging and teaching others to do the same.. Your attitude in your previous posts was deserving of the resulting sarcasm received. Stand up for your rights and be heard, stand up and be counted, it doesn't always require an attorney to do that, stand up, fall down, then stand up again and again and again! The standing is the important part.. Congrats on your hard-won successes too, and yes sometimes, maybe even most of the time they are hard-won, but they are and can be won.. Sassy.. |
|
Even if it is just the attorney who profits..
Nineflies. ====================. At least the lawyers half way earn the money-that's more than I can say for the creditors who are legally robbing us blind?.. |
|
"Earn" is too strong. I think most lawyers would be offended. At least the lawyers tell you what they are doing ahead of time as they put on the latex gloove and tell you the proper possition. The CRA's just say, "LOOK! Somebody Dropped a Dollar!" ;~O..

Sassy. =====================. Why is false info allowed to be reported in the first place?. LB 59.. |

Becky. One way to do that is to cut off or drastically reduce the income of their clients... |
