My first question is Who sings the song in the Discover Card advert? Thanks for any answer. 2nd question I got is.. What is TU B* magic number?.. |
Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you help..

Took 78 for me on TU.EQ took 148 back in the day before I started to get chopped every 18th of the month for the last year and half...
I'm gonna say 67, with 66 a possibility if Centrro's inq doesn't count...
OK, 66-67 is FAR too great a confidence interval..
We need to nail this one too... |
Yep, I'm really covering my butt there with that span, aren't I?.
I think it's 67, because that's my rolling count on TU of credit pulls initiated by me as of 12/31, but that Centrro soft inq is a ringer...not sure how TU codes it. I'm thinking it's coded like CK... |
Just to clarify, do your hards count towards the magic number?? I.E. I have 22 inqs on EQ, does that mean I only need 63 softs to start seeing some B*?..
Yes, they do count. However, if you are trying to beat monthly C*, you will want to assume that you only have 1 hard inquiry when determining the number of softs that you need. In other words, just because you have 26 inquiries and only need 59 softs to reach the first B* doesn't mean that you will only need 2 daily pullers for 30 days in order to B* them all off...
Can you provide a screenshot of EQ inquiries? The people here figured out which softs count toward B* and which don't...
>64, since I haven't gotten B* yet..
<70 by all reports.. So, I'm going with ~67... |
