My question is Who sings the song for the new Discover Card advert? Many thanks for any comment. Another quick question... As we all well know, establishing and growing new credit lines is as important (if not more) as getting old derogatory and incorrect information deleted. A huge part in tackling the messes I made was just a matter of getting organized. I use Yodlee provided though my bank to stay on top of my open lines and accounts, and to stay on top of my bills. That certainly helps in ensuring my payments are timely, but in this credit climate, that alone won't be enough to help my TLs grow. |

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably know..

I use an excel spreadsheet..
The first tab is my basic household budget. The second tab is credit cards and contains lender phone numbers, website login info, interest rates, current balances and promotional info, payment due dates, CRA reporting dates, date of last cli request, and pending/last posted payments.. The next tab has a list of fixed household expenses and the final tab is where I kept my list of baddies I was still working on. Thankfully that tab is now blank.. This post has been edited by. I need to combine mine.. I'm currently using 4 separate spreadsheets..
Again, this seems obvious, yet I've been working out of 4 sheets for a year now.. DOH.. |

This is great advice. Getting a system down is probably the hardest part of the dispute process!.
I have disputes sorted by creditor then by type (since I really only ever had a few, they were just... large). I've moved most of the stuff over to searchable PDFs now. Obviously I'll keep the paper copies around for probably a decade, but when I need to look something up quick, the PDFs are handy.. I started with Manilla folders, but switched to pocket folders after finding a few green cards in the bottom of my file box. I also staple the green card to a file copy of the letter I sent, easier to keep track of that way IMO... |

Your spreadsheet > mine..
I'll be adding to mine tonight!. I think I'll add a column with their regular number (in case I need to report a card lost/stolen), and a magic number column for those banks that have them!.. |
