That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you help..

Some years ago we had 3....

I did a 2 into 1 (my 2).

Then we made our 2 into one large "JOINT" account.

>$20,000.

MANY BANKS HAVE A.

FEAR.

OF 2 into 1 and CLOSE 1.

LIKE ONE ACCOUNT IS MORE RISK THAN TWO ACCOUNTS.

$6,000 + $4,000 (LESS RISK).

THAN ONE ACCOUNT WITH $10,000 (MORE RISK)..

REDUCING THE NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS SHOULD.

NEVER.

INCREASE THE RISK..

I have 2 Cap One cards; got them about 6 months apart. I got the first one bout 18 months ago and started with a credit limit of $750, then went up to $1000 after 3 months, now my limit is $5500 without asking for an increase. My second card is about a year old and my limit started at $500, after a couple of months it was increased to $1000 and has been at $1500 for 7 - 8 months now..

They are totally seperate accounts with different trade-lines reported on all 3 CRAs..

I do not know if Cap One has a limit on how many Cap One cards an individual can have...
