Quick question: Where online can I purchase phentermine (generic adipex) with Discover Card, not visa? Many thanks for any answer. Another question on my mind: Not sure how to handle this. I have one collection account being reported twice. The thing is it is being reported for one amount and the next amount is for one dollar more..

The account is with Hilco Receivables. They have sent it to their different collection agencies. I DV them and nevr hear another word until the next collection agency gets it then I dv them and nothing..

Isn't it illiegal? Since they aren't validating should I let this just let it go until I can afford to pay on this account?..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably know..

You need to dispute it with the CRA's so if they verify it then you have a s-2b violation...

Aside from a non PP violation under the FCRA, in order for a furnisher to be liable under the FCRA you need to dispute it. This triggers the s-2b violation..

15 U.S.C. 1681s-2b..

DISPUTE BOTH WITH THE CRA(s) AS DUPLICATE.

Might get lucky and both will go POOF..

This doesn't make any sense to me. If you don't want to wake the "sleeping giant", why poke it with a DV?..

Well I suppose I thought if I reported it to the CRA it might make the CA say forget trying to collect and sue..

I don't know. I suppose now that I think about it, it doesn't really make much sense...

Did you put a limited C&D on your DV? If so thats more likely to prompt them to sue than a dispute. Their odds of collecting drop dramatically when you take away their option to call you..

In this case, it sounds like they can't validate and are just running in circles. How old is this?.

I did do a limited c&d with the dvs. I requested everything in writing. I told them basiclly communication is fine just make it written. Not one CA has provided validation. This is still fresh, well within SOL September of 08 was last payment...

No.

I have not. I was not sure what to do. I didn't want to dispute it if it meant waking the sleeping giant..

It is mine and when I get my income taxes I will be able to pay all my other little debt and then concentrate.

On this one...
