My 1st question is: Where can I buy phentermine without a prescription using Discover Card? Hoping for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Maybe it's just me, but I took it as Marv suggesting to others to be nice to you. At least in this congratulatory thread... |

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could answer your Discover Card question..

George, why do you post here?.
I'm not trying to be mean but I'm at a loss to explain your behavior here. We're all united by a common goal, to educate ourselves on the ins and outs of credit repair and to exchange information and experiences. But this is a different kind of message board than most; we don't come here to talk about a common interest with like-minded people. People gather to talk about music on music boards, sports on sports boards, literature on literature boards, etc. And long-lasting friendships can be formed on those boards, in person as well as onlne. I can understand 76,000+ posts over six years pontificating on rock-n-roll or baseball, topics that many people will never run out of things to expound on. Many people come and ask a question and leave when it's answered to their satisfaction. And that's great that this board has helped so many people. And many people stick around here because they like to help others and enjoy seeing other people succeed in their battles. And that's great, too. If only everyone were so helpful in all aspects of life. But unless you're an admin or a moderator or have had literally a couple decade's worth of credit trouble that they're trying to get out of, I can't understand why anyone would stick around long enough to post 76,000 posts, especially when such a great percentage of those posts aren't helpful to the discussion. I wasn't going to say anything but as it's been pointed out above, even in a thread wishing you happy anniversary, you have a hard time just saying "thank you," and leaving it at that. You'd rather talk about your haters. And again, I'm not trying to be mean and I don't want to contribute to the George-bashing but honestly, man....what do you get out of posting here? Seriously. What's in it for you? I am honestly baffled... |
|
George, I was merely curious why so many people find it difficult to be nice to you..
Always seems to me that the less nicer peoples are the ones that haven't actually contributed much to the board. That makes me sad, since this is a consumer friendly board, that so very many people find it so difficult to be friendly.. My congrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrats on your six years here with us... |
|
THANK YOU.....
I could say something about people getting their on-line buddies (from other places) to sign up and start the attacking (BUT I HAVE NO EVIDENCE).. |
|
Hey loaded sky, all I have to say is this: those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones..
We love you George (even if some love to hate you). BTW... I may have seen you at work... but didn't say anything... |
|
I'm just honestly curious why George spends so much time here, is all and I asked what he gets out of it. I thought it was a legitimate question...

You left out the first part of my paragraph. I'm here for help and advice, to glean information from other people's experiences and clarification of ins and outs about credit repair I'm confused about. This board has been immensely helpful to me and I plan on sharing my experiences here as long as I'm repairing my credit. But after a certain point, after you've educated yourself properly and have gotten the information you were looking for and your credit has been cleaned, this board is a lot less useful. It's not like one can stick around and shoot the bull about a new record that's out or about the ballgame last night..
This is certainly not a knock to those who stick around and help others, long after their own credit has been cleaned up. God bless them, seriously. Those people are why this forum is so helpful and excellent. I just don't honestly see what George gets out of his time here when so little of what he has to say adds to the discourse. Hey, I know I'm relatively new and I realize that once upon a time, George may have been an integral part of this forum, as far as dispensing helpful advice and information. But I haven't seen that at all from him in my short time here. I realize it's a free country/internet and that he can do what he wants and I also realize that while he may be annoying, he's ultimately benign. I just think it's a very curious way to spend one's free time... |
|
GEORGE, I always value your input..
You've helped me many times.. thanks so much ...congrats. GEORGE you ROCK!.. |
|
+2.
I am new here....While I don't find some of George's post useful to me, I have no problems with those posts....If someone doesn't like it - just skip them and don't reply. Happy anniversary,. VK.. |
|
You're serious?? I can't believe what I just read..
He likes posting here.. he helps people...Im one of the many that he's helped.. not everyone on here has to have bombed credit... Why are there sooo many mean people on this board? Just completley blunt and rude... if it isn't nice keep it to yourself.... This post has been edited by Unas2k5: 29 January 2010 - 07:51 PM.. |

This site is about credit. Not just credit repair. One thing I find unique and useful about CB is that discussion about credit repair AND what to do with your new credit are intermingled. One thread is about how to get a CA off your report and the next is someone like BobWang showing off his new CL. It gives people struggling inspiration to keep working and conversely it gives people who have "arrived" a chance to help others directly (by giving advice) and indirectly by.
Giving re-builders a glimpse of what they are working towards.. And it's fun for the "arrived" to compare lines and keep up on new deals.. CB does not become "less useful" once you get your credit cleaned. In case you haven't noticed, credit rules change constantly. CB is a great place to keep informed on what the creditors are up to and basically on all things credit related.. Oh and George, congrats! I've never been a joiner... |
|
I don't start many posts...because they end up LOCKED because it becomes a big ANTI-GEORGE FIGHT.
I learned to be interested in CREDIT REPAIR when people who had rotten credit were getting approved for stuff I was being denied for. (and my "JUST PAY YOUR BILLS" didn't go over too good)...not that I was the only one to use that line. This post has been edited by GEORGE: 29 January 2010 - 07:54 PM.. |

Just a refresher statement, located on the 1st page of CB.
Welcome to CreditBoards. Written by Administrator. Credit has become more and more crucial to functioning in today's world. It affects so many aspects of your life - whether or not you get that dream job, how much interest you pay on your credit cards or loans, whether or not people think you're "deserving"of the good things in life. Until recently, how credit and credit scoring works has been shrouded in mystery, putting the consumer - you - at a distinct disadvantage. Now, more than ever, consumer pressure is forcing the subject into the light and removing the shrouds. Come join us in turning on the lights! Join the millions of consumers who have decided enough is enough, and have taken control of their credit!. At Creditboards.com, there is something for everyone - from the experts with excellent credit who've never had "baddies" on their credit reports and who know the best techniques for getting the best cards, loans, and mortgages on your terms, not the creditor's, to those who are in trouble and need support and advice, and everyone in between. Here you will find the insider's truth, not the industry spin that the credit reporting agencies, creditors, and collection agencies would have you believe!.. |
|
[ADDING].
I never knew that one had to have bad credit to say "I HAVE MADE IT" or "I HAVE ARRIVED". I have never been one single day late in 30+ years and for me to be PUT DOWN FOR THAT IS VERY STRANGE. What am I missing by being here???. Today is my day off from work.... I slept in past noon...but I was up past 1am watching TV and a couple netlix movies. Happy Anniversary GEORGE!!!.
I have nothing but respect for you myself, especially since we have a common bond in Wal-mart!!!! Gotta love it...... |
|
Thank you....
Don't push the WALMART job or you will be attacked like I am. Some here act like NO JOB would be better than going that low. This post has been edited by GEORGE: 29 January 2010 - 08:23 PM.. |

Another thought. Someone who has never been banned after 76,458 posts is doing a lot of good and not very much bad..
I've seen people get banned in under 20 posts.. You go George... |
|
No you are not the only one. It's rude and entirely unnecessary. Some of us have known George long before CB. I'd like to think that people could set aside their differences for just one little thread.
Whether folks like it or not, George is often the first to respond to newbie's posts. Sometimes it's off-topic, sometimes it's relevant advice, but he's at least acknowledged the new member & new post and not left them to be ignored. It's a big world out there, full of all sorts of people. Some of them you'll like, some you won't. If you put just a little effort into finding something positive about everybody- even those you don't particularly care for- life is more pleasant all around... |
|
WELL SAID....
Too bad some of the HATE GEORGE AT ALL COST CLUB MEMBERS won't read it.. |
|
Congrats, George! I for one enjoy your posts. Quite frankly, you provide more useful information in ONE OR TWO WORDS than alot of folks here say in paragraphs....
..and I have to say, it amuses me (and always has) that the Mods/Forum Leads/etc participate in the bashing and negative commentary (in this case and many others). I always thought their job was to keep it clean and useful. Fotunately, alot of awesome, knowledgeable and most generous people contribute alot of their free time in spite of that. It's what makes CB amazing. (Go ahead, call me a TROLL. It won't be the first time.).. |
|
Again, Happy Anniversary George.
These boards would not be the same without George's valuable input. I feel that many of the "younger pups" do not want to hear the truth from someone that knows what is truly going on. I too have teased George (hate n bait) but all in jest. Keep up the posts George. I will always read something from someone that knows what they are talking about. Where's the party?.. |
|
George is an enigma. He sometimes posts things that don't have relevance to the topic at hand, but he keeps things entertaining to me..
I can picture him being a lot like Elaine's father from Seinfeld... grumpy, a little frightening, but very wise.. "We had a funny man with us in Korea. Tail gunner. They blew his brains out all over the Pacific. There's nothing funny about that.".. |
