Got a question... Where can I buy clenbuterol with a Discover Card? Looking forward for any comment. My other question... Was wondering if the online luv button for Crap One has ever worked for anyone?. |

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you help..

Cap1 doesn't have a luv button nor do they offer customer initiated cli by phone anymore..
OTL for past 3 mos would certainly seem to preempt the possibility for auto luv on the acct at this time... |
SINCE WHEN DID THEY HAVE A BUTTON.
Call on the phone>. "OUR COMPUTER KNOWS WHEN and IF YOU WILL GET A CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE".. |
Maybe I was thinking of my Orchand card with the online Luv button.....
As for calling, yes...I have received CLI before on BOTH my cards. But I could not get it by asking the CSR. I had to escalate it at least 2 - 3 people by continuously asking for their manager when the person declined. After going up 2-3 levels of people, I did manage to get an increase... The first time I called, I got an increase from $500 to $1000. The 2nd time I called (which was several months later), I got an increase from $1000 - $3000. Crap One did not give me these automatically from their "computer." I had to escalate to get them... |
It's True. Same way the Traction Control computer on my Car knows best how to Stop it..
.. OP How did you get them on the PHONE!? and get to SUPERVISORS? ANd what did they SAY?.. |
Call on the phone>.
"OUR COMPUTER KNOWS WHEN and IF YOU WILL GET A CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE". (this is the line they use). If you don't understand.. |
That's odd. I had to call cap one a month ago and one of the automated options was for requesting a cli...
Hmmm... Did you say "May I ask to speak to a Manager?" Im just wondering what was said..
This MAY come in Handy if I Seek a CLI in "April" when my Card was DUE to be Expired, or more for my Birthday... I dont want to wait TOO long, either!.. |
Well, to start...you have to be REALLY NICE. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar..
Second,I said something like "I really like Crap one...but I'm not very satistifed with this limit. I want to see what I can do about raising it..." Expect them to deny you when you ask.... When you get the denial, say something like "well...that just really disappoints me because that doesn't work for me. I'd like to talk to your manager about this..." Now...remember...it is THEIR JOB to keep you from escalating. They will do and say almost anything and everything to NOT escalate. They will try to shut you down by saying "there is nothing my supervisor can do for you..." or some other such nonsense. If they REFUSE to transfer you to their manager, be sickeningly SWEET and say something like "so...you are refusing me a talk with the manager??" If they persist, ask if they want to put that on the record. Whatever you do....don't get nasty!!! Be very nice & kind, but FIRM. I called back immediately and started over. Eventually, you will get transferred. Always verify that they are. MANAGER. ...not a supervisor. These are two very different things. If they send you to a supervisor, ask for the manager. If they confirm they are BOTH (i.e. the same thing), start your spiel all over again. Nicely tell them that your limit doesn't work for you and you want to see about getting an increase. Ask for. Their. Manager. Keep going.... Eventually you will get someone high enough that has the power to "override" the system and give you one if you are TRULY creditworthy (meaning you don't have a history of lates, over the limit, etc...). I have done this with BOTH my crap one cards. On the first, I got my CL raised from $500 to $3000 (like I mentioned before). On the second, I got it raised from $300 to $1000. I tried raising them even further but was told I hit my limit ceiling with both cards because they are "creditbuilder" type of cards. The only way to go higher on my two cards is to get a card from a different product line.. YMMV, but what do you have to lose?. Yes, I know that is what they say... The CSRs said the same thing to me too. That's why I escalated..... |
Also makes me think of the Magic Number....
.. and triggerpuller703 Yes that is "Option 5," followed by "Option 4" on 800-903-3637 (NOT the Magic # the Main #.). It has been there since at least 2006... |

What does CCT have to do with giving your address to Capital One?..
2fast, there is a PERFECTLY Logical Chain of Events that PROBABLY got masked by my Aspergers..
ALLOW ME to Show what this was, so the Board can understand... I feel ive been doing -better- here. Thank You.... I typed the below:. 2) I am calling CCT today and CANCELLING so I can then GIVE Capital One my New Address.. NOW. Aside from CCT being an Experian product (A Different Post this morning, called "Experian is NUTS,") I knwo that Every Time I order CCT, it says:. Joseph C. NJ Address.. NOW. Since I am STILL about to Log On to Capital One and PROVIDE my PO Box address (I can do it online, Yes?) ... CANCELLING CCT will allow me to AVOID 1) Explaining to, 2) DEALING WITH Experian/CCT my PO BOX Address, changed on my Credit Card!. So they Are, in Fact, Related. No FRIVOLOUS Fraud Reports or Deactivated Cards for me.. Thank You... |

The response is often 'your account is not eligible for a customer initiated CLI'.

For the past several months they've ceased to offer customer initiated CLI by phone...
.. And I believe you meant to type "Cap One" for Capital One, not "Crap One." You Typo'd...
IIRC....
1) Call (800) 903-3637. This is Capital One, NOT the Magic Number.... 2) Enter Account Info, and Zip Code.. 3) Let it read the Balance and Minimum Payment, etc.. 4) LISTEN TO THE OPTIONS. Press 5 for More Options.. 5) On this menu.. I think "4" is the CLI Option to Request a Credit Limit Increase.. They USED to give the Recording "It will be Reviewed".. Now they just play the Message. Very Dated, was like that in 2006.. If that is true about NO Customer-initiated CLIs AT ALL (Which CSRs and "Account Managers" say is, I talked to one on September or so,) then the Magic Number "Managers" (not Supervisors) wont do it either?. LadyRelm2 did it....... |
