First question I have is Where can I buy a prepaid Discover Card/Visa debit card? Many thanks for any response. Second question of mine... Ok so I requested a auto loan from NFCU because I was interested in purchasing a car, didn't have a car picked out yet but I was looking. So I got the check in the mail and noticed it was only good for 60day. During those 60day I did not find the car I was looking for. Anyways the check expired 10 days ago and now I finally found the car I want and need to have..

My question is is there anyway to get that check to still work? of to extend the offer without having to reapply for the loan again. I will be calling NFCU on monday but just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before or any experiences with this........

Thanks in advance......

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you help..

Please just reapply. don't play around with check dates and checks to friends. And by the way, search NFCU on CB and maybe you will try for loan elsewhere..

I'll second that...not saying any of those other things wouldn't work but having the dealer doctoring things up and back dating checks and changing things isn't a good sign. Just contact Navy and tell them you need more time and to reissue another check and send them the old check if they ask for it..

If you have a branch close by, i'll bet you can walk in the branch with the expired check and walkout with a newly printed un-expired check..

Update.....

Call NFCU they would not let me use the same check, but after talking with CRS they pulled a soft and got a cashier check for 12k with .5% less then the original auto loan..

NFCU ROCKS!!!..
