They may be turning a new leaf. I was able to get them to refund a $59.00 annual fee on a closed card because they want to keep me as a future customer..

I got the exact same thing from them on my account last year, they did credit the account but didn't delete the late payment. However I disputed online just to see and EQ deleted it still working on other two...

They credited my account a few years back when I paid under one time, Do you guys have Annual fee's? They cut mine in half this year, after the second year being opened..
But my limit was at only $300 now It's $400 after 2 years.. it sucks.. |

I'm sorry but when you run your card close to the limit or at it's limit you run the risk of over limit fees. They are not going to refund it to you every month simply because you ask...

IME HSBC is fine. Their fraud dept is jumpy about some online purchases but CSRs are polite and available 24/7..
However, their best cash back card (weekender) is beat by FIA's 2% flat cards... |
