First question I have is What should I be cautious about during the FHA Lending Tree mortgage loan process? Thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I haven't been posting lately but read when I can... but I thought I'd just give everyone a heads up to one of the best offers I've gotten (glad I opted back in!!)... it's from People's Bank (platinum)... 0% on purchases and BT's until 6/03, which is decent, but the go-to rate is a FIXED 7.99% on purchases and BT's..

I've been approved but they didn't tell me what my limit was - and I didn't ask - I wanted to be a little surprised when I got the envelope!.

I know 6 months @ 0% is pretty average, but I'm really impressed with the go-to rate and it being fixed! Best I'vd gotten so far was Fleet with a 8.99 go to.. even my credit union has a 9.9%..

I got apply happy once we hit 700+, and now I've got (I believe) too many open lines of credit... so I'm going to ditch the little ones like Target, who won't budge on anything - that's at $1500 cl and 15.9% apr I believe - haven't used the card in months. It's a year old next month. Providian was going to be next on my hit-list but they came through with a $1000 cl increase (without me asking) and a 1.9% BT/purhcase 'til March... so they get a small reprieve..

I really wanted to develop my relationship with Citi, but they just won't budge on the 12.64% APR... so I'm going to BT from Citi to People's in March, when my 4.9% offer is up (unless they come up with another great offer). I love this flexibility!.

Gosh, I remember last year at this time just being new to Creditnet and being thrilled to pieces when I got approved for a $1500 cl from Target with an 18.9% apr... My, things sure have changed in a year - I feel like I'm more empowered - *I* can choose who gets my business instead of crossing my fingers and hoping that I was worthy of a particular card. And for those of you who are still in the struggle, I gotta tell you, it's a GREAT feeling!! =-) I know the battle sometimes gets discouraging, but just keep looking foward and you'll get there. And when you get there, I promise you that all the headaches and aggravation you endured in your jouney will have been so very worthwhile!.

Digressing a little, but in 1997 my hubby got a new Harley - we had to pay 28.99% interest on that, PLUS kiss butt for a co-signer, which is horribly demeaning. Fast forward to August of this year, hubby gets another new Harley with a 5.99% rate (would have been 4.99% but I wanted to extend the payments an extra year). No cosigner, no aggravation..

I forget exactly how many turns down we'd gotten before we secured the Lending Tree loan for 28.99% interest (I think at least 5), but it was awful. I felt like we were lower than the lowest but this time it was AWESOME. I KNEW we'd have no problem getting approved - I was almost cocky about it, quite frankly! It was a complete turn around - *I* was choosing who I wanted to do business with - not having my credit file choose for me. It was quite the high!.

I think getting this new motorcycle at a reasonable rate was the pinnacle of my Lending Tree credit repair journey - I had a happy hubby and a single digit interest rate! What could be better?!!!.

Thanks for reading, I know I got off track a little but my gosh, good credit is so much FUN!!!!!!!.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably can help you..

THIS PROVES THAT THE "PRE-APPROVED" STUFF YOU GET IN THE MAIL ARE "USUALLY" BETTER!!!.

First-year savings based on a constant balance with a 1.9% introductory APR.

For six months and a regular 13.99% APR for the remaining six months. Your.

Jp1010- hubby got a 2003 sportster - he likes the agility of the sporsters compared to the big twins... he has a 1972, 1986 and his new 2003! I embarass him 'cuz I'm perfectly happy and content on my '87 Suzuki Savage. I don't like the way Harley's vibrate, so I let him hoard the Harleys! =-).
