My question is What percentage of Lending Tree mortgages in the USA are VA loans? Many thanks for any response. Another quick question... Finally got Privista to bring up my true FICO today..

661!.

Up from 589 in October. Don't know what my TU is, but EQ is showing 644. Were can I get a TU true FICO? My FAKO is 626..

How high can it go with a 4mo old BK discharge on record?.

BTW, This group is GREAT!..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably could give you an answer..

The new thing, when you can get it to work, is based on Myfico, I believe. Via Beacon. Am I right or did I screw this one up?..

They have a new option that allows you to buy your EQ FICO for $12.95. You are correct, though, that the score that comes with the monitoring service is not the FICO score but the CreditXpert score...

"FICO" is trademarked. I believe they can only call it your "score" if it is via EQ's system...

Nope, not accurate. You can buy your TU FICO at.

For $12.95. You can buy your EQ FICO at.

For $12.95. And, you can buy your EQ FICO from.

For $12.95 if you have already subscribed to the monitoring service...

(Original Stuff DELETED).

I misread you. Got ya. We seem to be thinking the same thing. EQ score and EQ FICO score are differant. EX & TU the same way. I agree. BTW the score I quoted was an EQ FICO...

Aarrrrgggghhh!!!!!!!!.

All this stuff in located in the unofficial FAQs page. and now mis-information is confusing even Javan!.

Javan, you are right!.

And people wonder why I stress READING THE FAQs PAGE OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER..

Here's my advice for anyone who doesn't have perfectly clean reports..

Read the faqs until you have them memorized.

Read the faqs until you have them memorized.

Read the faqs until you have them memorized.

Read the faqs until you have them memorized.

I am not trying to be rude.. but these types of mistakes and mis information could cost somebody thousands of dollars in interest fees one way or the other. We are dealing with LAWS here. That means learning and understanding them is MORE than a hobby. IT IS THE BASIS OF CLEANING YOUR REPORTS and how quickly one gets them clean..

Read the faqs until you have them memorized..

I wasn't confused, just wanted to see how he/she was going to explain the *other EQ score that exist*! :-) LOL..

FICO is NOT the property of EQ! FICO is the Fair Isaac Company.

They've entered into partnerchips with TU and EQ to generate their FICO score from the information provided by these 2 CRA's..

COMPRENDE?!.

Edit: The only *FAKO* scores are provided by TU and EX(which is actually the CreditXpert score)...

When's the last time you checked? The reason I ask is, I signed up for the 30 day deal a week ago. The system said I would have to "upgrade" to get my (true) FICO. When I hit "upgrade" Expecting to have to shell out the bucks, it gave me the service one time free with a true FICO which I listed above. Now when I hit the button it hits me up for a payment. I'm telling you, it's the real deal. Maybe it wasn't before.

Anyway, I give up. Got better things to do and got bummed out when I purchased a true FICO from TU it was 609. And I'm still fuming about what the CRA's did as reported on the "somebody's lying" thread...

I just checked this afternoon. I've had PriVista since July 02. When I hit the *upgrade*, it asks me for payment as well. But with the service also comes a free CreditXpert score. After you log in click on the button at the top that says "Credit Insight". It will show you your CreditXpert Credit Score(this score is updated weekly).

I think we are on the same page. It's been kinda confusing since EQ bought PriVista. Prior to that, you didn't have the option to buy your EQ FICO on the PriVista site..

609 ain't bad - keep fighting, you'll get there!!.

Good Luck!..

Got ya. I'm on my trial period and have spent more time e-mailing support than using the service. Had a hard time getting my complementary FICO. It will not show me the Creditxpert (got that on e-loan anyway), and now, since they reset my account for me to "clear things up" the whole thing is screwed. What can I say? Its free so far. Since the FICO is going to cost me every month, I'll probably just opt for MyFICO and be done with it..

I haven't been at this sight very long (wish I had found it a long time ago), but I've been spending too many hours at this computer researching and disputing for the last 4 months. I've learned a lot, but I'm sick of it all. A few more months to a decent mortgage.............

Thanks for the distraction for a while ;-)..

I have the myFICO service also. You get 6 reports and FICO scores over the course of one year for $60 bucks. Better deal than CreditWatch(only 4 reports for $80 + monitoring service)..

I know EXACTLY what you mean!! I started in March 2002 with scores in the mid 500's. I spent every second(literally - even at work!) on this sight and on the phone with the CRA's. I'm almost done with my *repair*(EX are just BA****DS!).

Now I'm able to get away every once in a while - to eat and sleep! :-)..
