Spyke's answer is basically correct, especially given the time frame you are talking about..
Those amounts are so small that they basically are not worth fighting about in the first place and secondly you don't have the time to fight with them. I would recommed that you use the westcap endorsement method on a bank certified cashier's check and hope you can get the deletion that way. The way I teach to do it you should get the morgage whether they accept the check with the Westcap on it or not, delete it in time or not, whatever you should still get the Lending Tree mortgage if you do it my way. It's cheap too because you can do it for maybe $15 or less all told each account including gasoline to the post office.. That is a whole different ballgame and especially if you don't have the cash to handle it the same way. I seriously doubt you can get a deletion in any couple of months but on the other hand one does get lucky lots of times.. If you have the cash to pay it off in full then I would do that using the westcap endorsement on the back of a certified cashier's check as well. If you did all three at the same time you could hold the expense down to maybe $40 or less quite easily. Almost all of that would be used up in postage and misc. costs alone.. I'd sure recommend the westcap over fighting with them for the simple reason of your time limitations if nothing else and it sure would be a whole lot less expensive... |

Bill Bauer, what a response, I have been hoping to recieve some of your great advice. I will do a search on the Westcap and get back to you all, I have perviously read about it, I work at a bank so I get free cashiers checks and have enough cash to pay it but double of the original balance? Should I try to for 1200 and see is they cash it with the endorsment on the back? How in the world, being overseas I can not get a stamp made at Office Max or near that nature, would typing be o.k?.
Thanks again.. |

Typing won't work unless you have access to a machine that will type in 6 point caps. I understand it can be done on a laser printer but it would probably take some practice..
Due to yesterday's events here on creditnet I will only be answering posts where someone directly asks for my advice and then I will only give it by email until such a time as the personal attacks stop.. I will be happy to give you the copy for the westcap endorsement and some other ideas about how you can get the job done if you will email me... |
