First of all What can you do if a company charged my Discover Card but haven't shipped the product.? Looking forward for any answer. Another quick question... The last 2 Cap One accounts are set to fall off of EX, let's see if they go POOF for GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!.. |
That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could help you..

I have one year and 4 months until Cap One comes off my EX and TU reports but I won't give up finding ways to dispute it. I managed to get it off EQ...
Without knowing the history of these, IMO, you should have disputed them as obsolete. With them aging off, they are still in the "file" and will show up on a full factual report if someone ever pulls one. If they would have deleted it due to an obsolete dispute, they wouldn't show up on a FF...
I thought they were supposed to completely go away after 7-7.5 years. Who pulls full factual reports?..
Some mortgage companies, background screeners like the US govt etc...
So when should you dispute exactly?.
Too early and they'll say "you still have 4 days left.". Too late and they'll say "its no longer showing on your file.".. |
Not to threadjack, but when an account is deleted via dispute, does it show on a full factual report?..
So sad that somebody can get access to.
WHAT YOU CAN'T GET. (full factual).. |
What are the details?.
The general rule is a tradeline removed via consumer FCRA-based dispute is excluded form a FF.. But of course it is still in your credit FILE..... |
What about accounts that were removed due to fraud (being underage when they were opened) ?
Those might still be in a credit file for a consumer simply for informational purposes, but a CRA better not include them in a FF. But only CRA top brass would know for sure..
FF are rather rare... |
"IF" you can't get access to the information....
WHY CAN ANYBODY ELSE???.. |
I can't wait!!!!! (and it's NOT MINE!) lol..
I'd send and obsolete letter anyway... |
How close to the drop off date will EQ (or the other two for that matter) be likely to actually delete something based on an obsolete dispute?.
TIA.. |
I NEVER thought of this!.
I am scared to dispute them again they were re-aged last year whenI disputed them, they were supposed to fall of in Sept of 09 and got re-aged to Jan 2010.. |
CONGRATS, gtbf!!!!.
IIRC, with EX tread lightly....I think I learned that from you (etal).... EX is not known to play fair.... so imho you are doing exactly the right thing and letting EX do what they're gonna do with no help from you... which hopefully is age them off..... My 2 crap1's finally aged off last year - so far, so good.... Crap1 is THE DEVIL........ |
Yup, I have had my fight with them. I was going to dispute them online but it won't let me. By the time they get my dispute letter it will be time to go POOF, so better left alone is best for now...
May cap1 baddie I disputed and it went off almost a year early.. try and see what happens..
Man! I know you cant wait..
I have a year or two for mine to fall off my 1 remaining report.. Im going to pop champagne like I won a championship game...... |
