Quick question... Should I get a prepaid Discover Card gift card for online purchase? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Second question.. I tried to apply for Discover More card on Nov 6 and was declined due to:.

1. NUMBER OF BANK INQUIRIES IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.

2. EXCESSIVE NUMBER OF CREDIT BUREAU INQUIRIES IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS.

3. TOO MANY OPEN REVOLVING ACCOUNTS WITH HIGH % OF BALANCE TO CREDIT LINE.

3 is due to 0% BT money, I have lowered that to ~5% so it should be ok now. Through B*, I cleared all the Equifax INQs. But I applied for two credit cards today, so two hard pulls showed up in Equifax already (12.8). My score should be 720+..

Does anyone know if Discover has a "hard requirement" for inquiry? If they won't approve with two recent hard INQs, then I don't want to waste a hard INQ..

So you mean Discover is keeping an internal database about my previous applications although I have cleared all the EQ INQs through B*?.

One more question, regarding the "NUMBER OF BANK INQUIRIES IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS", are they talking about ChexSystems inquiries or CRA inquiries by "BANK INQUIRIES"?..
