My question is Overseas property Lending Tree mortgage interest deduction.? Many thanks for any response. Second question.. Here's one I haven't dealt with yet. I sent a demand for procedures to EQ - including contacts names, phone numbers and dates contacted... this is for an account listed under a business that has been OUT of business for years now that they "verified" (yeah right).... |

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably could answer your Lending Tree question..

GG,I sent validation letter CRRR on December 4, 02..
No green card yet!! I called the PO (have a friend who works there) it was delivered to PO box 12-7 and signed for. He said they keep CRRR records for 2 years, so if I need a copy he can get me one... |

Go to usps.com tracking page. it will tell you when it was delivered and you can print the screen to show proof of delivery...

You can also go to.
Http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm. And input the number and get a proof of delivery.. NV Bone Doc.. |

AAAAAHHHHHH how smart you guys are!!.
It was delivered Jan 16.....!!.. |

I recommend doing this as a 2nd backup anyway. Recently, when TU didn't complete my investigations, in trying to copy the green card to fax, the date of receipt was illegible. (They used red ink stamp on a green card), so I printed out the USPS report, and it satisfied TU...

I've been doing a bit of research, and I've come up with a theory. The date on the tracking site may not match what is on the green card. If I recall correctly in one of the previous threads that the site has the day the letter was delivered, not the day the letter was signed for. This means that if you were to use the printout on the website as proof of delivery, and the CRA waits a day or two before signing , you could use the website as evidence that the CRA went over the time limit to investigate when actually they completed the investigation on time. Might be useful for lawsuit fodder...

I have read on here before that some of these CRAs are taking the cards, signing, and then returning them to the PO later, because of the volume...don't know that for sure..
I do know, from talking with the PO in PA (TU), that even though they are delivered to their PO Box there, because of the volume, a carrier bundles all the stuff requiring signatures and delivers it to TU's offices... |

Dixi - that crossed my mind, too.... but I know now that it's in their vicinity somewhere......

Willgator,. I'd like to know the # if you don't mind sharing it with me, too. I mailed a C&D and validation ltr to a CA, CRRR, on 1/24/03. According to USPS track and confirm, my ltr was "delivered" three days later, on 1/27/03. It's been 8 days and I still haven't received the green card. I will give it a little more time, but I'd like to be prepared ... just in case.. Thanks!. Flamva.. |

I sent 2 crrr to equifax on the same day. I have tried to track them but it says they cannot track that number. I mailed these along with 2 other crrr's and these are the only 2 missing. Is that normal for letters not to show up at all in the postal tracking system? I guess I will wait a few more days...
