My question is Nancy Tai has recently opened a revolving charge account with Discover Card.? Thanks for any answer. My 2nd question... I have 2 accounts with them one $250 limit and another $300. I HATE paying (with Discover card) the stupid yearly fee. The interest is at 9.99 % and on $300 that is nothing. Although My balance is much lower..

I have 1 open Target card and a Kays and Jared's card. I have a closed GE Services account that they closed not me, however I still have a balance and still continue to pay. I have a car loan... I think that is it..

I'm trying to improve my scores but I want to get rid of FP..

What is everyone's opinion?..

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could assist you..

Dump that sucker!.

Between the annual fees and the monthly fees for having the cards, you could have banked a pretty hefty limit secured card..

I'd close those suckers. What's your FICO like? Any negatives? Youve got a few accounts with history, I'd think you could get a better card somewhere...

My EX and EXP are 560-580 and TU is 617. I've had one card 3 years with no lates and the other over 2 years with no lates EVER!!! No CLI EVER !!!!.

I want to dump them bad and I always pay online, which usually costs additional money ($7 a month) and $7 a month finance charge. So $14 a month....... UGH.

I have 1 negative in the past 2 years on my CR and that was with a utility company because I paid money to the gas instead of electric, not paying (with Discover card) attention and I missed it for 2 months......

I'd say add a Hooters card or a Barclays card (Like Carnival SeaMiles), they both usually pull TU...and I got both when my score was very low 600s. Your limit will likely be higher and then you can dump FP!!!..

Yes. Hooters is a MC and I'm not sure if the SeaMiles is a Visa or MC..

I heard (and it worked for me) that the Barclay's iTunes Visa is an easy approval. Problem with it is the initial approvals are relatively low..

I'd go with Texas' advice above - I think you could get approved for probably both, but at least one of those cards... Then you could close that FP garbage and save yourself some $$$...

I'd dump those sub-sub-sub-sub-subprime bassturds just on principle for their 79% APR credit card...

I too have both of their cards, the $200 limit card is my oldest TL so I'm keeping it, just have to bite the bullet. 1 yr 7 mos history with three lates a year old, so I'm keeping it till the last lates age past 2 years. The other card I just got a CLI last month from $300 to $425, and it's fine for now. I've since gotten HSBC 2% $320 CL and Hooters $400 CL. I guess I just need to let them age as my scores are still in the very high 500s and low 600s...
