I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you help..

Yup, disputing as obsolete should get rid of it. Too bad your score will probably drop when it goes away unless you have other old accounts. One of the counter intuitive things about fico. Still, it's better to have clean reports with a slightly lower score...

Do that first before anything. CCT shows TL's that I dont have on my real report...

The '18 years ago' portion of the equation is irrelevant. It matters not when the account was opened. What IS relevant is the charge-off date. An account that charged off in 1995 should not still be showing as a derogatory item. If the negative information has fallen off, leaving only the age of the account, then it ought to be left alone....
However, as others have noted, you need to look at REAL reports obtained DIRECTLY from the four major bureaus before doing ANYTHING!!!.. |

Thanks all for the advice. I will order my real reports I already I cant view my free one until August of this year...

Dispute as.
**Obsolete**. I almost missed the. C/O. Part since it was so small. Are you 100% sure it is on your paper reports. DIRECT FROM THE BIG 3. This post has been edited by. GEORGE. : 12 January 2010 - 07:23 AM.. |
