First off, Lending Tree mortgage calculators for mobile/modular homes? Thanks in advance for any response. Second question of mine... Guys,.

With EQ bumpage, I'm told I'm taking the risk of a split credit file by an EQ representative. I didn't mention bumpage by she saw my report when I called and said "WHOA, you shouldn't pull your report everyday or your report gets so large it will be split. It's only meant for you to pull maybe once a month or so"..

What are you guys take on this. I heard a split file is a nightmare and no one will do business with you until it's fixed...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably know..

The weird thing about my bumpage is that it started at 121, I'm now at 127. So, every time I get an AR it adds to the number, and bumps nothing off. I'm still getting bumpage, 2 EQ softs every day, but the number goes up every month by 1 or 2, depending on if I get an AR or 2. At first I thought my file was just growing, and bumpage was lost. After a couple of months of monitering, I noticed this trend. Just thought I'd share, in case anyone elses does that too.

I counted and 12/17 is when that hard will fall off. I shouldn't gain any points though because when the hard was added to my report, I didn't lose any!!..

Funny you should mention no pts lost for inq's. My Amex inq in August I lost 0 pts. When it was my last inq and bumped courtesy of MY TRICK LOL, I gained 7 pts. I have no clue as to why, but I'll take it. Since they were freebies, I sent 2 pts via paypal to George...

Hey, maybe I'll gain points too. Mine was for AMEX too! That'd be pretty cool, gaining extra points for nothing...

I'm not so sure the original question here was answered (well, at least the spirit of the question wasn't answered). How concerned should people be about developing a "split file" as a result of EQ bumpage?.

From what I was told, you can have up to 54 lines of code for tradelines. If you go over that, the file splits. How do you know when you are encroaching on that #? I have no idea. As for inq's, what will happen if your file gets too long is you will get the dreaded error code 45D. Then you won't be able to pull your file online, until they delete some of the older inq's. This happened to me back in Sept.

They then deleted about 30 soft, older inq's and I was able to pull. The next week they twice deleted more inq's, bringing me back down to about 100 total. I was able to pull my reports, but bumpage stopped. Just this past weekend I finally had built up enough inq's to start bumage again...

I seem to top out at 159 inq. then they delete some. I'm at 153 now. Since I can get my report from qspace and equa. I put 3 softs a day on my report. I put 90 softs on in one month. lol...

My magic number seems to be 150 inquries. I stay at that same amount most of the time..

Hopefully my Target (RNB) inquiry will be gone by mid-December and then I'll apply for GM..
