First off, Is there any differences with a visa and a Discover Card? Thanks in advance for any comment. My other question... When disputing obsolete 3-11 months before an items deletion date, is this something that you would feel ok with disputing online or should you CMRR ? .

Yup, however you might want to make sure and wait for someone else to confirm this as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you email the Discover Card guys because they can assist you better...

$0.44 US MAIL.

ON-LINE.

Probably will back-fire (many disputes that way do)..

I€™ve done online for things set to drop 9/10. they didn€™t get dropped, so I€™m going to try again via US Mail...

US mail is ok but I would suggest against cmrr. That often bounces you over to the "special handling" department who may actually look at your dates and deny your early dispute...

Should I list all accounts I want to dispute as osolete on 1 letter or send in 1 letter per account? Should I send in 1 letter each day so they are received on different days and by different people?.

Whats the best way to improve my odds of each account being deleted?.

Depends on how many but you usually want to wait for the results of one before you do a second dispute. I personally would do it in a blanket letter...

I hate to ask a stupid question but the term "blanket letter" is one I have heard a lot but not ever seen defined. Does this mean a letter that covers all issues under in the same letter..

I.e. - a blanket letter for obsolete trade lines might look like this:.

The following trade lines are obsolete, please delete them:.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

- XXXXXXXXXXX.

Thank you,.

4 or 5 items per letter (8 or 9 might be pushing it).

Never.

Send another letter before they are finished with your last dispute.

EXCESSIVE DISPUTES CAN GET YOUR LETTER IGNORED or THEY PULL.

FRIVOLOUS.

Or.

REMAINS.

OUT OF THEIR BUTT.
