My 1st question is: Is the "Paypal" just like Discover Card and visa card? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another quick question... So Portfolio sent me a dunning yesterday on a alleged debt that was incurred last decade (and by last, I mean the 90's). I pulled my back-doors on Friday and they weren't showing up then. I know this will most likely go away with a simple FOAD letter, but it's sort of pain. I've gotta write the letter, go to the post office, etc..... |

Yep, although you might want to make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Discover Card guys because they can give you an answer better...

I am so glad you contacted me to resolve this 10+ year old debt that may or may not be mine. As a matter of fact, I did see this debt in my rear view mirror, and it was scary. I then put my car in reverse and ran the POS over, more than once, to make sure it was dead. 5 years ago I drove by the scene of that disgusting slaughter, just to make sure the alleged debt had rotted away. Your company should be prosecuted for "abuse of a corpse" if you are actually attempting to collect a debt that originated while C&C Music Factory was churning out hits.. Your organization must Cease and Desist all attempts to collect the above debt. Failure to comply with this request will result in me immediately filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the New York State Attorney General€™s office. I would love to see whoevers face when they open this. They will probably spit out their cheetos laughing. And the "Don€™t try anything. Have a great 2010!!!" is the icing. If they have any sense of humor at all they would have a board in the lunchroom (or in some cases, their mothers dingy basements) with all the funny letters they receive from people who are on to their games..
