Quick question... IS PAYPAL A CREDIT CARD COMPANY LIKE Discover Card, VISA, AND ETC? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Well, this is my first post, I have been reading here of well over two years now. So many of you have helped me and you don't even realize it. But I wanted to update one success that I had on the credit pulls database, but I am still considered a newbie so I won't be able to. |

The answer is Yes, although you might want to make sure and wait for another person here to confirm this as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Discover Card guys because they can help better...

I was just declined for a UMB "Lincoln Highway" Visa... actual 749 TU FICO, 12% UTL., Zero inquiries, no new accounts in last year, perfect history, DTI way low etc..
Too many Bankcards was the reason... I have 9 including store cards.. Do they ever recon?. Congrats OP... |

Also, I apped for UMB Guide Dogs in Sept. - denied - too many revolving accounts, tried recon, no go. TU 692. oh well..... |

I really want that one too, I just app recently and am afraid I'll be denied for the same reason as you. Kinda wish I had of applied for it b4 my mini CU spree. Oh well. maybe next year.... It's my understanding that only the UMB Partner cards (co-branded) do not report at this time..
I recall reading on this forum that cards applied for through the main UMB website. Do. Report... |

I applied for UMB Guide Dogs for DH on 12/4/09. They only pulled TU. I got a notice saying we would get the decision by mail in 15 days. Hope that means it's a YES!! Will be even better if it is a hidden tradeline..
We are trying to lower DH's utilization. He has a BoA card ($5800 CL) that is 100% utilized...and a Crap One card ($500 CL) that is 0% utilized. Just got him approved for a Citibank card - $4800 CL. I just need to bump up his FICO's about 30 - 50 points. Hopefully this will do the trick!. Congrats OP!!.. |

Things must be looking up in credit land, I thought they were fairly conservative with approvals when it comes to utilization, maybe it's hit and miss... |

I was under the impression that you could only have one Cap1 credit steps card. I've been getting stuff from them to apply ever since I got the first Cap1 card..
Is UMB BK friendly? I've seen the apps a QT where I get my gas, but haven't applied since I thought it was hopeless (until after I got my Cap1 card)... |

I got the umb gillette cards I got approved for 2500 with a fako score of 729. It doesnt report yet...
