Got a question, hope someone can answer... How to find out who's a CEO of my Lending Tree mortgage company? Hoping for any comment. Another question on my mind: Has anyone ver disputed an account w/tu and they actually mark the acct? I have 4 disputes going on some are getting close to 20 days old yet none of them are marked. Meanwhile equifax has marked each of them within 24 hours.... |

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably know..

From what I understand, the best way to handle this is to send a validation letter to the CA, then dispute with TU. Since Transunion does not have the means of showing the item in dispute, that is violation number 1. If the item comes back verified but you have not received proper validation or any contact from the ca, that is violation 2. If you send an estoppel letter to the CA, and they contact you and still report. You have a suit against the CA. The way to get the removal is to bring to TU attention that they have verfied but you have letters, ( validation letters crrr and faxes to the CA) but no response from the CA. From what some veterans have said, TU will essentially back down and delete the item instead of going to court...

What about approaching the CA or OC to delete all neg tradelines from all CRA's since just getting TU to delete there own report still may leave you with more?..

The only problem with negotiating with CA is that they are professional liars. The only means of possibly getting the item removed is fixing up a really neat endorsement on the back of a cashier check and sending an intent letter that a collection supervisor will have to sign. If the tradeline is not removed after payment, you will find that you will have to hang their behinds in a sling by using bbauer knockout estoppel letter or an intent to sue with the full intention of suing if they cross you in any way. The way I am approaching my repair is that these items are very personal and I am too old to have bad credit. So I have read and re-read the FAQ. But don't pay anything to CA until you have exhausted the validation process, read butch "what is validation" to derive if they have even established that you owe the alleged liability.
Also hint that if this is not removed that you will have to take it to the next level, which is you acting as a CA. OC do not have validate under FDCPA. Try a measure of goodwill when dealing with them.. I just hinted that I would sue 1st premiere for $1k per inquiry per credit report and they removed the inquiries. This was done subtely but trust me, I was prepared to do it. I have access to a federal courthouse which is down the street from my job and a county courthouse. It is just a matter of filling out my complaint to show them how muche you want their money... |
