That would be perfect!! I can't get in to my EQ report - guess I'm locked out so I was going from memory which I thought was the 18th or very early 20's..
I may just get all these off before the end of the month!!.. |

Does the chop happen to everyone? Or only some people?.
I have been using CCT since Dec, but just added USAA today. I am just debating if I need to add a third or not... |

1) No it does not apply to everyone..
2) I am not sure if it has been confirmed but some have reported that CCT and USAA are merged to one soft per day... |

Dang I think you are right. I was reading this thread.
Http://creditboards....howtopic=422975. And they had CreditSecure and USAA and they were not merging and since they are basically the same service I thought CCT and USAA would not merge. But then I read down in the thread some more where people say they were.. Do we know what people get chopped and what people dont?.. |

No, but there is reason to believe that using a service based on that bureau leads to C* from that bureau, and that EQ is once C, always C*, but YMMV..
I.e. Using TC may cause TU C*. Using EQ Creditwatch may cause EQ C* (even after you stop!)... |

I used TU, MPM, some EQ products a few years back. I wonder if that would chop me now. Also I wonder if pulling EQ backdoor chops people as well. Thats why I am a little worried to check the backdoor...

Alright well I did the backdoor and I am getting chopped, was on the 18th..
So I have CCT & USAA now but we know those merge, so I will cancel CCT since it is more expensive for me. I cant get CS, no Amex card and included them in BK so they are not an option. I had an old MPM account, I think I canceled it cause when I try and log in it says it's cancelled. I would like to reactivate it and not wait the week for my stuff. I will try and call them I think. However 2 wont get me enough softs for EQ.. Any idea on a 3rd I could use?.. |

I have pulled about 5 or 6 backdoor reports in the past 3 months. I already get C*. However, none of these times caused me to get "instant C*" like ordering the paper reports will cause (I'm guessing they C* you before printing in order to save paper and ink XD )..
So, while YMMV, if you are already getting C* regularly, the only damage you can possibly do is order a paper report... |

You probably have till the 22nd or 25th, which is the customary monthly chop date..
The 18th only happens in December according to Dr. Tang's prodigious memory... |
