My first question is How Do I go About reporting a Lending Tree mortgage Broker who is not doing their job? Thanks for any response. My 2nd question... Man I am just all over the place since I found this site!!!.

Now I have pulled all of my CRs and have dispute letters ready for all three, now I am second guessing myself on what to do first?.

I just "disputed" some of my personal info, like previous addresses and current employer. Main reason I want the old addr. off is to dispute later a judgement that should have gone against our old now defunct family bussiness the address of which they had down as my residence.....

Question to the Gurus'When should I send in my dispute letters? Should I wait a couple weeks till the address stuff gets changed or wait the full 30 days for them to "investigate" my address change?.

Oh yea, I think I decided to not include Judgement dispute in first round anyway, till I am sure the address is changed on all three. And am just focusing on charge-offs this round. But considering some of those accounts would utilise the old address too, would it be better to just make sure about addr change?.

I am sorry about long post but don't want to go off half cocked. I am pretty wound up since finding this place and feel empowered to start to take control of my financial future for the first time in a long time..

I can't wait to say " I Win !!"..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably could answer your Lending Tree question..

I disputed a previous address, spelling of current employer and an entry for a previous employer online. I figured those are harmless "disputes".... so those were the only ones I threw out there.....

I'm waiting for a public record to drop off in feb... I figured this is a good way to get an updated report so I can check out the status on that...

TU and Equifax deleted old addies in 2 days, still waiting on experian. Unfortunatley for me, my judgement has my current address...

Equifax cleaned up my past addresses. They just can't seem to keep it straight though. Whenever someone reports something, they change my current address. Dummies..

Experian sucks. I sent them three letters regarding bad addresses. They just ignore them, and leave the incorrect info on my reports..

TransUnion: I haven't tried with them yet. Although, this may have been a mistake on my part. I have been giving more attention to EQ and EX. I'm on the west coast, so I didn't think TU would really effect me...

Experian wouldn't delete my old info either. They said that it was still being reported by 'several' accounts on my CR....

Well duhh, that's why I want the old info off!!!.

I guess EX cares where I lived ten years ago?.?.?...

So, what is the best way to get old addresses deleted?.

Dispute online, call on the phone or write a letter?.

Thanks, Ioan..

I did both.

TU online - addresses deleted.

CSC - by phone. Evil idiots put out a dispute on my Foleys TL, and they verified the address. (If I'd known it WAS NOT closed, despite what they said, I would have sent them a change of address)..

Experian - online, all addresses deleted...

I called TU and the "Tracy" (very friendly) removed my address imediately (though, I am waiting for an updated copy of my report to see if it really was removed).

I called Experian, and the lady told me I would have to send snail mail to their Allen, TX office. Should I call again and see if I can talk to someone who will do it on the phone? I have Experian's Creditwatch deal but I can't seem to dispute the addreses online. What am I missing?.

I am going to call Equifax on Monday to get those off..

Before I found Creditnet I disputed my judgments on both TU and Experian, before I removed addreses. DOH!!!! I am going to try it again once the addresses are gone. Am I screwed as far as getting the judgments off now?..

I've been able to get previous addresses removed by calling all 3..

With Experian you can log on and check it the next day as long as you have a report number. Or you can wait for the mail..

TU and EQ did it by phone and sent a new report in a week with...
