Got a quick question: How can I get people to call me for Lending Tree mortgage refinance or Lending Tree mortgage assista Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Second question.. Hello all,.

I am a newbie..yes even after 2 months of posting on credtinet. Here is my situation, on my equifax, RMA-Albuquerque shows as a collection account for Verizon Select date reporting April 2001. At that time I did not have an account with them but did have one with pacific bell. Now these bloodsuckers keep verifying with Equifax and have not responded to a validation letter that I faxed on 2-15-03, Yet on 2-12-03, 12/10/02, 9/9/02, 3/14/02, 5/15/01, they have pulled hard inquiries of my credit report. I believe I have a couple of violations and possible payment of $1k for each pull non-permissable?? Is there a good knock out punch letter "which request deletion, compensation, and go to hell around, and if not, we will have a merry old time in court letter".

Any help would be appreciated..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably can answer it..

You only said you faxed the document to them in your original post..

I'm wondering whether Verizon bought Pac Bell's wireless busines. Was the Pac Bell a wireless account? Did you default on it? Are we talking about mistaken identity or what? If not, it's just the typical deny, duck and dodge techniuqes to avoid paying. You need to figure out which it is before proceeding, or be more clear about it so people can respond appropriately..

I'd suggest reading some of the FAQ's and do searches for similiar posts. People have written novels in response to questions such as these..

Good luck...

My only wireless has been with Sprint and my only phone service has been with Pacbell and this has been for over 7 years. I have read the FAQ, sometimes it appears to be an overload of information. I like bbauer approach, he keeps it simple and plain. Basically don't educate the ignorant CA. I know I have 2 violations with Equisux, but I am trying for a slam dunk with the CA and Equisux. Mama needs a brand new car this summer...:-).

Why not let them pay for it...

Information overload for sure! I find it helpful to select the right key words and start out with more terms rather than less..

It sounds like you have a slam dunk case..

From what I've seen, Bbauer's approach is a good choice. The man is obviously well-versed in a wide variety of topics related to credit, as well as many others. You can't go wrong with someone like that on your side...

They do receive their faxes. I just got a letter stating they received my C&D letter and they will not be communicating with me anymore. We will see right! I don't think they bought this one though. I think they were trying to collect for Capital One..

Isn't it funny how when I tried to contact them before I was late on my payments to let them know my husband had been hit by a car and was our only source of income they blew me off like yeah well when you become late we will deal with itDidn't have the time of day for me. When I was late and couldn't keep up they all of a sudden wanted to be my best friend and talk to me all the time! Unbelievable!..

Yeah like at least 6 times a day on the telephone!.

They have to make sure you are taking good care of their money and want to know when you are going to let it go home...

This is what I did to get them off my back:.

I sent them validation letters, and they sent me bills for every letter. So, I talked to my lawyer. He told me to CC him on the next letter..

In my next letter I wrote that this matter has been discussed with an attorney, and unless it was resolved within 15 days, I will have to take action. (Note: Did not threaten to sue) I also put my lawyers name and copied him the letter..

Needless to say, they had 2 entries on my report, both are gone..

Hope this helps...

I am also a big Bauer fan (trying carefully to keep this thread from turning into a lovefest for the legendary BB). Keep it simple and don't show the CA all of your cards...yet. Very few CA's will send you a nickle for any violations until you actually file your lawsuit. I would reccomend concentrating on documenting as many RMA violations as possible. Most importantly, read Psychdoc's "litigious mindset" thread before you proceed...

I have read the litigous mindset from PsychDoc, that is the only way that I even have the nerve to even go for a court case. I have read the dispicable practices of this one CA and I know that you guys do go for the jugular. Thank you for you encouragement. I love criticism, it allows to re-think and re-trace my actions to check for any possible cracks in the armor...
