Got a question... Has anyone used an internet Lending Tree mortgage lender? Looking forward for any response. Another question... The Capital One American Red Cross Platinum MasterCard makes contributing to your local American Red Cross chapter even easier.. |

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably could help you..

THIS CARD HAS AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE OF $59..
ANNUAL FEE...AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GET FREE FLIGHTS!!!.. |

Actually First USA has an ASPCA card and a percentage goes to help them feed and care for the various critters that irresponsible morons adopt and then can't take care of for one lame reason or another - or decide to move and can't take Fido with them, or let their pet breed, etc. etc. etc. Animals are a lifetime commitment, people!.
In fact here's the whole animal/environmental line up that First USA offers:. American Kennel Club. ASPCA. Best Friends. Fraternal Order of Elks. Green Mountain Energy. National Geographic. National Parks Conservation Association. Rocky Mountain Elk. World Wildlife Fund. So what's wrong with a card that gives a little something back to the animals??? <stepping off my soapbox now>.. Ozzy... |

Have you heard everything?.
I have an affinity card that donates a portion of my spending to "the mutt". It's much more gratifying to help a defenseless animal than it is to help an ignorant man/woman.. -0m.. |

Weird, says "No annual fee" at top of page, then proceeds to say $59 annual fee in disclousres..
Hmmm................... |
|
NiceGuy,.
I noticed that also. Apparently Cap1 feels that an "annual membership fee of $59" IS "no annual fee". Why do we need litigation to solve easily worded terms such as these? - Beats Me.. *No annual fee. THIS CARD HAS AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE OF $59... |
|
It's worded awkward....
'IF WE ARE UNABLE TO APPROVE YOU FOR OUR 9.9% OFFER, YOU MAY BE APPROVED FOR AN AMERICAN RED CROSS PLATINUM MASTERCARD WITH A 0% INTRODUCTORY RATE FOR PURCHASES UNTIL JUNE 2003, AND THEREAFTER, A VARIABLE RATE OF PRIME PLUS 15.05%, WHICH ON SEPTEMBER 2002 WAS EQUAL TO 19.8%. THIS CARD HAS AN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE OF $59'. Meaning, if your credit doesn't qualify for the no annual fee, 9.9% card, you may qualify for the $59, prime + 15.05% B.S. card.. -0m.. |
