Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could answer your Discover Card question..

The last CLI I have gotten was the Victoria's Secret VIP card. That was in October of '08. Never seen any CLI's afterwards. I am laying low at this time because of the economy...

Dell just kicked me up a $1000 for a total of $3000.00.

Walmart gave me $100 last week.

Best buy gave me $100 pus waived the $79.00 anunal fee when I went to close it.

JcPenny gave me $150 increase last week as well.

No CLIs on Chase either (only consolidation) as I am pretty sure they'll want to hard pull for a stingy increase..

I disagree. If you've got solid financials, you should go on the offensive. Hiding isn't going to help..

I've gotten CLIs from BofA, Discover, Target (Visa), and GEMB (Lowes, Paypal) in the last month...

Thats an inherently risky move, even moreso if large credit lines are involved. If you can afford to gamble, then you might want to give it a try, otherwise, I'd error on the side of caution and stay on the sidelines.............and pray...

I got a CLI last month from of all creditors, AMEX Go figure.

Otherwise, the last CLI I got was from BOA in May of 2008. They used to give them out like candy, now they're taking them away...

I received two small auto CLIs on two Citi cards last month - $1000 and $1500. I was a little surprised by that. Before those a Chase CLI that I asked for last summer and it cost me an inquiry...

Orchard- 1/09 (given after threatened to close; 2 yr anniv of cc).

Best buy mc- 9/08 (auto cli on 2nd stmt).

Cap 1- 10/08 (cli by backdoor #).

Have NOT asked for any clis (CAN€™T spare an inq) + don€™t have any fabulously prime ccs, so not surprised I€™ve not gotten a ton of clis lately. Waiting for ba 99/500 to unsecure, but looks like it will take the full 12 mos...

Cap1 - pseudo CLI last month through closing & combining.

Chase/Circuit City - never (opened in June '08 - waiting to find out if card will be converted or closed).

Dell - Nov '08 (6 months after opening).

Household Bank - this month, believe it or not.

Macy's - Sep '08 (need to call for a GLI).

Target - Nov '08..

Citi is probably winning with last CLI being probably three years ago..

Acutally, I bet my most recent one was Target in January..

I've received CLD's on a total of three cards. But no increases...

Only CLI's I have got are from WALMART STORE and CITIBANK in the past few years.

MORE LOSS THAN GAIN (many times over)..

Capital One Limit $8750 Balance $4 Opened 07/08.

-lots of "steps" and CLI's by request, then stalled at $8750 in Nov. 2008.

Target RED Limit $500 Balance $0 Opened 07/08.

-one CLI to $500 this past fall (09).

Chase PerfectCard (ex-Wamu) Limit $6500.

-never.

Airtran/Juni VISA Limit $1500.

-never.

Amazon.com/GEMB.

-started at $950, CLI to $1175 in October 2009, and another to $1400 this month.

-stuck at $700, no CLI's ever.
