My question is Details of Discover Card gold airport lounge access facilities in India? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. My 2nd question... Wow, I got the priceline visa about 2-3 weeks ago; charged about $200 on it through last Friday. Today I go online and it says "credit card cancelled' ... I called and they said "you've had too many inquiries" ... I have a US Airways card with them for $1K cl (same as the priceline) and it's paid off like clock work every month.. |

I have a friend with a 840 FICO. Very thick credit file. He had several CC's cancelled by credit grantor. He has 7 figure assets, 6 figure income & almost no inquiries. No degrogs, whatsoever.
He lost some history but his FICO still is very good. The cancelled cards were from the "crappy" banks, etc. One has to be very careful in this credit environment. I had a couple of cards cancel myself but they were HSBC, Barclays, etc. Nothing I want to keep, anyway. My credit union cards are still golden. I always think very hard before applying for anything. If for a credit card, it has to have a very fat signup bonus or have a great rewards program... |

Maybe you could try calling the magic Barclay's recon number, and see what they have to day? If it works for recon, maybe it works for other things too..

Sorry about the account closure. They closed my account without any reason when they were Juniper.It was never late, PIF. I forget they approved a $500 CL TOY card. I didn't go for application spree. IMO, just let it go. They might hit you another hard inquiry.
