Got a question, hope someone can answer... Can I rent a minivan from Enterprise with a debit card/Discover Card logo? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... Just got mine. They pulled a hard from EQ on 11/15. YMMV.....

Ye, but you might want to make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm this as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you call the Discover Card guys because they can help better...

Just so you know, HSBC reports balances as of the last day of the month, not when the statement cuts... something to keep in mind when trying to bring your UTIL down...

Hey all,.

I tried the pre-selector for hsbc and was pre-approved for 'HSBC Platinum MasterCard'. Is it a decent card? I am in need of revolving accounts..

TU = 634.

EX = 639.

EQ = 657.

Have some negatives with nelnet that have since been paid off, however, it is still showing. I have submitted disputes. Should I wait or apply for this while I can.. heh..

Are increases automatic then?.

I wonder if that can be made faster. I just got the card 2 months ago and made at least 3 payments on my 500 limit card. I moved 3 or 4 utility type pymts to autopay and thankfully the first month when I was up against the limit they did NOT process it and nail me for over the limit fees. I now manage it better but easily can run up over 500 in no time with all my gas expenses etc so i'm careful. even just up to 800 or so would be helpful..

Except for maybe showing near my limit all the time on my reports, is there any other negative to me paying (with Discover card) this card off 'so frequently'? I've almost broken even on the 39annual fee..
