First question I have is Can I add money to my Discover Card giftcard through Paypal? Thanks in advance for any response. My 2nd question... Started in early Sep with 2 CAs, 2 OC baddies and no positive TLs. CCT fakos were around 550. So far, got one CA deleted. Waiting for a response from the other.

Scores are all around 580 now.

I'm losing all hope that I'll be able to get my credit fixed anytime soon..

I've tried sending 623 letters to BofA and WSECU, and I never heard back from them. Has anyone had any luck getting a delete from BofA? Should I send another letter, and then file a complaint with the FDIC and the OCC? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!.

TIA.

Yup, however you might want to make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am unsure. Better yet, why don't you email the Discover Card guys because they can answer you better...

Don't get discouraged!.

Credit repair is a marathon not a sprint. You need to be expect a year or so for you to make significant progress. Keep at it!..

+1 all those new accounts will bring your scores down initially, but they will get better with age..

I started with a 505 score last year around this time. I'm now up to 635 last time I checked on TU and 645 on EQ and I haven't bothered with EX..

Just keep plugging away and you'll see your scores increase...

Active collections will keep your scores down. my DWs EX & TU scores havent budged at all even with the addition of new positive TLs. due to one remaining CA reporting, when the last one was deleted her scores didn't change..

Keep working on it, you'll get there!..

Thanks for the responses! $300 CL reporting since Sep 09, and $500 CL and $500 secured loan just started reporting. My baddies are all from 2005. $2xxx for MCM and BofA and $6xx for WSECU. (Both credit cards).

Its taken me 15 months to raise my score 100 points..

In that time I went from 11 bad entries to just 5 on TU,.

And 7 on EQ/EX. No open credit at all..

I've opened 10 new accounts since Sept/08..

Another another 12 months (giving me 24 months on most of them).

Of they aging should give me a nice boost in scores, esp. after I wipe.

Out the last few baddies..

As others have mentioned, it's a marathon. It took years to.

Screw up and will take time to fix. Just plug away a little at a time..

You have 12 months to work on baddies while your current TLs.

Age to at least 12 months old. At the 12 month mark, I believe you.

Get a small bump too...

PIF, work on baddies, dont open any more tradelines unless you need to..

Just keep adding cash to your secured until it's at least $1000 plus before.

You unsecure..

Do all of that and I guarantee your scores will improve dramatically..

Stay the course brother and GOOD LUCK!.

Provided no new "baddies" pop up or current derogs update, by April (6+ months) you should see some improvement....it's just maddening when you want to see improvement NOW. Patience is a virtue I was not blessed with either......
