First off, Can a 16 year old get a debit Discover Card or depit visa? Hoping for any answer. Another quick question... So from what I heard I would be wasting my time trying to get some inq deletions from EX. I had 3 inqs from Calvary and 1 from a Discover credit card app that I tried first. Checked CCT this morning and bam..........gone. Looks like I'll be throwing another couple of fish on the barby in my next letter.

So this month:.

Ex 11 to 7 via disputes.

TU 6 to 2 via B*.

EQ 1 to 1 lol.

The answer is Yes, although you might wanna make sure and wait for another member here to confirm this as I am not confident. Better yet, why don't you ask the Discover Card guys because they can give you an answer better...

Well maybe I'll try to fight my last baddie with them now then..

BTW just fyi 3 of the hards were connected to a c/o I had them delete awhile back. I referenced the fact they were tied to a fraudulent account they already deleted..

The Discover credit card pull I said that I called the Discover credit card company first and they also had no record of the pull. This was actually true. I called the Discover credit card company to check on a Discover credit card app 2 weeks later and they said they don't keep denials over 2-3 weeks. So maybe the plain jane PP dispute letter that is floating around is the problem with denials. Handwritten letter also btw.

In the past, I've noticed that Experian will sometimes (I stress sometimes) go ahead and delete a hard pull from a CA if it's been deleted from your report. They did that to me on two occasions. I successfully disputed off two CA's and, without even having to ask, they not only deleted the account but the INQ also...

I wouldn't go disputing just any inq. I disputed the ca pulls for obvs reasons. The others will be from apartment rentals and really want that bs direct tv off just for the principle that they don't tell most people that they are doing a hard pull. It is good for people to know they can get those pesky ca hards off their ex reports if they are lucky though. The stigma I have always found is that ex would not for any reason remove a PP...

Heg has fairly pointed out that some disagree with his position. I would add that some strongly disagree, I happen to be one of them. Google is your friend. There is a lot of information out there on this subject. The more information you have the better the informed decision will be that you make. You might be surprised with what you find...

For what it's worth.

Cavalry has dug around in DH reports with impunityevery few months.

Hards across all three.

This infuriates me because he does not nor has he ever had a cavalry collections account, nor could they possibly have any valid debt of his...i am aware of all of his debts..

When Im done as far as I think I can go with his reports I intend to go after those hards because I canrt for the life of me imagine what their PP is...

Umm...instead of treating symptoms why not read the FCRA and FTC opinions on PP and pursue your legal options? $1000 per non-PP inq is and removal is better than removal..

I have very little luck in disputing.

HARDS.

This web site doesn't encourage doing it.

(EVEN IF THEY ARE TOTALLY BOGUS).

EQ and TU "B".

Other-wise wait 25 months (EX).

Unless it is in.

WRITING.

It doesn't count.

Even then....

DOES IT REALLY COUNT???.

I said don't pull you are getting 100% of the sales price from.

AMEX.

No loan will happen...I'm not writing a paper check...I'm not getting a loan from anybody else.

They pulled twice (TU)..

Lately, I've been shocked at my Experian results. I actually got them to delete a hard INQ that a CA put on my report and they deleted a chargeoff that has taken me two years to have removed...
