First question I got is As anyone familiar with green dot financial's pre-paid Discover Card? Thanks in advance for any answer. My 2nd question... In a few days, it will have been 6 months since my last CLI. Last time, I used the so-called "backdoor" number (9939, & I don't think it is very "backdoor" anymore), & they took me from 1K to 6K (after dealing with an idiot CSR for half an hour).. |

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you an answer..

Thank you for the 'grats, & I too have read the posts about Crap1 not giving customer initiated CLI's... I read the same thing 6 months ago when I got my 5K CLI..
After 5 years @ 1K, I app'd 2-3 times a month via the auto-phone CLI option (since I have all 3 CB's frozen, no chance of a Hard Pull). Denied everytime, & they sent a letter, with a different Crap1 reason, everytime.. I finally called them up, & fought a handful of CSR's & Account Managers, only to be told NO yet again.. A week later, I received a letter in the mail saying Crap1 had decided upon "automated review" of my account, to grant me a 5K CLI!. So don't think for one minute that the garbage one of their CSR's gives you is worth a damn!. If you ask, fight, yell, shout, & threaten them long enough, you can get a CLI in any economic climate..
