First off, Anyone know a good *scratch that* GREAT Lending Tree mortgage broker in the southern Hillsborough Co Looking forward for any response. Another question on my mind: I have 6 negative tradelines on my Experian report. I have disputed them to no avail. I did an online dispute on December 1, 2002. On January 6, I went online to check the results. I have a printout that says Report Date 1/06/03..

Investigation.

Listed below are the current requests we have received from you..

Results due 01/01/2003.

Item 1 XXXX Outcome:Pending.

Item 2 XXXX Outcome:Pending.

Item 3 XXXX Outcome:Pending.

Item 4 XXXX Outcome:Pending.

Item 5 XXXX Outcome:Pending.

Item 6 XXXX Outcome:Pending.

So, this means they have not finished the investigation yet, right??? So, I sent them a letter stating they did not finish investigation on time and have 15 days to delete. I included a copy of what I printed off the internet. I got my report by mail yesterday and everything was on there, nothing deleted. They said they had verified all. I went on the internet this morning and everything is still shown as under investigation??? What the heck do I do now???..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably know..

Are these OCs or CAs ? Have you done validation yet?.

If so, time to send them an Intent to File Suit letter along with a copy of the suit. That will likely get results and if it doesn't time to file..

These are all ca's. I did send validation letters and only one CA has responded yet. They did send the proper validation, but I was hoping to still get it deleted because Experian did not investigate in time. All of the others did not validate and I sent off my second round of validation letters on 01/11/2003. Question-What is my best route to go if the CA's still do not validate? Intent to sue or what?..

Valadation process.

Are you saying the CAs did provide a signed contract and list of all payments, charges and fees? That is pretty unusual. If it is the case then you definately want to be careful pushing the dispute. If you aren't past SOL, you run the risk of them pursueing the debt aggressively...

The one CA that did send validation sent me a copy of the check I signed. All that I owe is 47.00 but with charges they have added it is now 107.00. If Experian does not delete it due to not investigating in time I am going to try to settle with CA for a deletion. A copy of the signed check is enough validation right? (It was a bounced check.) I should also mention the DOLA on that one is 08/00..

But everyone else that did not validate I think I will send an Intent to Sue letter because they have not validated and are still verifying with Experian...

Not sure of the signed check is validation or not...that's a good question...since the check bounced you might be able to say it's not your signature, but not sure if that's pushing it too far..

If you can settle for $47 it's worth considering...

On a bounced check, the check itself probably is pretty good validation. If they will settle for $47 to $107 it sounds like no big deal if they will delete..

On the other accounts be sure to follow the validation process. Be sure you are aware of the DOLA. Good luck and keep reading so you understand things BEFORE you start the process. Good luck...
